Bordermania Border Collie Kennel

Moritz is my first border collie and because of this fact he is special andunique. When me and my friend visited Forestry Farm for the first time, I had not planned to buy a dog as I still had two at home. Like many dog-owners, I am also a rolling stone about lovely breeds, so I was simply curious about this particular one. Well, we can say, it was love at first sight, although I cannot keep in secret how much the marvellous landscape of the Bakony (the surrounding of Forestry Farm) moved me at the same time. And this is how our first visit ended: we booked a puppy from the newborn litter on that day. Moritz subverted our life entirely and changing our lifestyle was something inevitably natural: Móric became a member of our family. We started to spend a lot of time with him on the weekdays, long walks and trainings became organic parts of our everyday life and above all, weekends became utterly sacrificed to Moritz. We went first to kindergarten for dogsand then came the school, and when Moritz reached his first birthday we tried the herding. From that time, we spend most of our weekends among the sheeps, albeit at home those things which can move just a little bit similar to a sheep are not in safety either. Moritz likes herding the barrow, the lawnmower and even the old lady next door. We hope we will be able to take the herding exam soon after so much practice we have made on the herding field and at home.

Moritz is not available at stud - he is a much loved hobby dog.
